HORSE RIDING LESSONS

We offer riding lessons for all ages (from 6 years old) and levels of experience.

Riding lessons from beginners to advanced riders, focusing not only on technique but also on the emotional connection with the horse.

Beginning Classes (Lead Rein/Lunge)

These lessons are designed for riders with little or no experience working on their first contact with the horse. Beginners lessons not only promote physical well-being, but also help with emotional development, giving the rider a sense of confidence and peace of mind.

The main goals of the classes are:

• Development of the rider's balance and correct posture;
• Improve the rider's physical and motor skills such as flexibility, agility and coordination;
• To train the three movements: walk, trot and canter, preparing the rider for more advanced levels.

Beginners' lessons last 30 minutes and it is advisable to wear comfortable clothing that allows for gymnastic movements on horseback.

Arena Lessons

Individual or group riding lessons, adapted to each rider's level, according to the Portuguese Equestrian Federation's saddle programme. Riders are continuously monitored to ensure progress and an equestrian path that suits their goals.

Arena lessons are ideal for those wishing to perfect their technique and progress in the equestrian world, whether recreational or competitive. Constant training helps the rider to develop a deep relationship with the horse, based on trust and mutual respect.

This includes advanced jumping techniques focusing on:

• Horse control during jumps;

• Advanced riding techniques with preparation for jumping competitions and dressage tests.

Arena lessons last 50 minutes and we recommend that you wear trousers, riding boots and protective clothing.
